How is the cell phone repeater installed?

Our Clear Voice cell phone repeaters have been designed specifically for easy installation and use by novice non-technical users. The cell phone repeater kit has two main components: a directional external antenna and a cellular amplifier. The directional external antenna is used to communicate with the cellular tower and for this reason it should be installed where the native cellular signal is strongest. In many cases, this will be outside your home or office, in an attic, or on the roof. Our unique signal indicator lights aid installation by showing the signal strength that is being received by the directional antenna, and make positioning and aligning the directional antenna simple. The directional antenna is connected by an RF cable to the internal amplifier device, which amplifies the signal and rebroadcasts for improved cellular signal coverage in your home or office.

1. The directional antenna should be installed wherever you have the strongest cellular signal. This may be in your attic, outside your home or office, by a window, or anywhere else. The directional antenna is uses to send and receive messages from the nearest cell phone tower.

2. The cellular signals are transmitted along an RF cable to the cellular amplifier unit. The signals are filtered and amplified by the cellular amplifier.

3. The signals are then rebroadcast inside your home and office, improving cellular reception. The amplifier unit is bidrectional, meaning that it also amplifies signals being sent from your cell phone.
