Our Clear Voice 900MHz Yagi Antenna is a high-gain antenna replacement for our Clear Voice 900 Repeater Kit. The antenna has a total of 10dBi gain (compare to 5dBi gain for the normal Clear Voice panel antenna).

How does it work?
The 900 MHz Yagi antenna replaces the panel antenna that is sold as a standard part of our Clear Voice 900 cell phone repeater kit. The Yagi antenna is a highly directional antenna, meaning that it collects signal from a small aperature in the direction it is pointed. This directionality results in a much stronger and clearer signal.
You may want an extension cable to allow you to install the Yagi antenna on your roof. You can find compatible extension cables here: Clear Voice Extension Cables
When is it useful?
For Weak Signal - When used with our Clear Voice 900 repeater kit, the 900MHz Yagi antenna increases signal sensitivity and strength. This allows the Clear Voice kit to be installed in remote and weak-signal areas where the normal panel antenna is not sufficient (i.e. areas where cell phone signal outside the building is weaker than 2 bars).
To Increase Indoor Coverage Area - Using a Yagi Antenna instead of the standard Clear Voice panel antenna will increase the indoor coverage area of your Clear Voice repeater system. The Yagi Antenna gives a 6dB boost to the total system gain when combined with a Clear Voice amplifier. This will double the coverage distance of your repeater kit. For example, if you were able to get 4 bars of signal at a distance of 20 feet with the panel antenna, you will get 4 bars at 40 feet with the Yagi upgrade.
